Model United Nations at 3rd ILSA Summer Conference

Registration is available to Model United Nations at http://www.ilsa2010istanbul.com/. You can either register as delegate or as group delegation.


MUN committees at ILSA conference are Security Council, SOCHUM and Legal Committee discussion topics are as follows:

Social and Humanitarian (SOCHUM):
1. How to deal with the problems of Aging populations
2. How to cope with the child labour?Is it needed ?

Legal Committee:
1. Interference Of Humanitarian Aid .Useful or not ?
2. Legitimacy of the United Nations.

Security Council (SC) :
1. SC will operate in continuous crisis mode in a dynamic and innovative approach to the Security Council.
2. Restructring the United Nations.

Please note the impotant dates of the conference:

Submission of the Paper Proposal: May 14, 2010

Notification of the Accepted Paper Proposal: May 21, 2010
Submission of Final Papers: June 11, 2010
Notification of the Accepted Finals Papers: June 13, 2010

Registration is 60$ per person. Registration deadline is June23,2010. However, we urge you to register early since we have limited availability.

We offer you Sisli Student Guest Houses for accomodation. It is 25$/night  per person.

Paper presenting participants will mostly be exempt from accomodation and registration fee upon their request.

Participants will receive certificate of the program. Best presenter, best paper and the best delegates will receive certificate as well.

Outreach Committee is working for making a contact list in order to invite people from all over the world. We are searching for law faculties which are interested in our organisation on these days. We sent mails to inform them about ILSA conference, moreover we wanted their universities' contact people's addresses. Also, many universities were in Christmas break and we are waiting for their response.
